The History of Holy Family Catholic School

With Jesus, Mary and Joseph, as our model, Holy Family Catholic School strives every day to nurture the development of the whole child, mind, body and soul, though academic excellence, Catholic teachings and service to God and others. To carry out the mission of the Catholic Church, Holy Family Catholic School was established in the Diocese of St. Petersburg in 1956 as a parish school that served grades 1-8. Our current population serves preschool one-year old’s through grade eight students. Our schools' enrollment averages about 210 students in the K-8 program and 70 in our Early Childhood Center.

Our two-story building has had one major renovation where a multi-purpose room and library were added to the school. In the past five years, we have put a new roof on the building, fenced in our playing field and secured the building with safety cameras. We maintain a growth mindset and are always looking for ways to improve our facility both for safety and to enhance the learning environment for our students.
