Welcome to Holy Family

Dear Families,

I want to extend to you and your family a very warm welcome to Holy Family Catholic School.  The Holy Family Early Childhood Center and K-8 programs provide a Catholic education where children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning, growing, and caring for one another.  Each year will provide important transitions and the acquisition of new skills that will enhance each student’s ability to apply learning to not only be successful academically, but to grow in their relationship with God, and learn to serve their community.  Holy Family Catholic School is committed to providing a challenging and rigorous curriculum that helps each student progress at a developmentally appropriate rate and we provide a safe, caring environment for all students.

“In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love.” - Mother Teresa

In this quote, Mother Teresa very powerfully captures important wisdom about how to approach life (and schooling) to make it more fulfilling and significant.  Teaching and learning offers us all numerous opportunities to focus on a number of “small things” that culminate over time to produce students that are prepared to do the “great things” in life.  With this in mind, ultimately, as a school community, we lay the foundation so students have the tools to impact not only our school and parish community but also the world beyond our school.

As an alumni and former elementary and middle school teacher at Holy Family, I value the social and emotional development of each child as they transition from preschool, to their primary years, through early adolescence.  I value life-long learning and aim to make your child’s learning experience at Holy Family Catholic School engaging, exciting, and focused on our faith.

As the principal of your child's school, I believe that it is my responsibility to maintain and to continue to build a supportive, collaborative, and loving spirit at our school.  As a school community, my hope is that we will build on the traditions of the past and meet the challenges of the future together.

God Bless,

Mrs. Abigail Rudderham
Principal
